Assets within Asset management allow us to track all the different things that we maintain within the organization.  Assets can be very granular, like a pipe, or a valve, or they can be parent assets that are made up of multiple sub assets, like a piece of machinery, or even a plant.

In order to maintain assets, we need to configure them within the system.
