Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management has 20 or so embedded Power BI dashboards delivered out of the box.  These are great because you can start analyzing your data right out of the gate with the system.

If you want, though, you can redirect the dashboards shown in the embedded workspaces to Power BI reports that you have developed and hosted within PowerBI.com, allowing you to surface the analytics that you have developed.

This is also useful if you are running on a development box or an “OneBox” environment where the reports do not automatically deploy because you can quickly link up your local reports into Dynamics 365.
